The history of Maison Childeric
Since 1978, passionate about the equestrian world, Luc Childéric first developed his expertise with another artisan saddler. In 1991, Luc Childéric founded Manufacture Childéric, which manufactures and sells high-end, custom-made riding saddles. It was through working closely with sport horses and their riders that Luc developed his perspective and acquired an expert eye. As close as possible to the animal, he first observed its functioning, free of any constraints. Thus, he understood the need to make riding as free and light as a horse in freedom.
He creates saddle models that will allow the rider to achieve perfect balance and comfort, but also to fully deliver the horse's movements in all equestrian areas. Ease becomes the watchword to follow to lead couples to freely express their movements. Work with your horse, giving and receiving as many sensations as possible. Horse riding becomes a dance, for two, in which each speaks to the other without constraint. The Childéric Manufacture creates more than saddles, it produces a true communication link between the rider and his mount.
Our vision

This philosophy embodies the search for a perfect harmony between man and animal. At Childéric Saddler, we analyze and study the horse's behavior at work to improve the comfort of both the animal and the rider. Thus, the saddle is forgotten while allowing for a true connection.
